Texas Roadhouse - Dickson City

I had just flown in from England and was hankering for a big American steak. My brother suggested that we go to Texas Roadhouse. It was really cool as we were abler to select which steak we wanted. I was really impressed with the fried pickles (having lived in England for over 20 years haven’t come across them yet) and they were amazing. The staff did a superb job, it was a Friday evening and the place was jam packed with people yet our food was cooked to perfection and arrived promptly. Well done top all the staff at the Roadhouse, you made my night.

Ordered a margarita and it definitely came with no alcohol in it. I suspect because the waitress knew that we had a little baby with us and maybe she told the bartender not to put any in. Who knows. She made an effort to ask how old she was etc. I would know if it had any alcohol as I actually have allergic reactions to alcohol in any amount. I had no reaction. All juice. Not sure if it was intentional or Texas Roadhouse drinks just don't have any alcohol. I ordered it as a treat to myself as I had made it 6 weeks postpartum after a traumatic c-section recovery and would've liked a small celebratory drink. My other 3 kids were down the road at Chuck E Cheese with their grandmother who so kindly watched them for my husband and I to go out for a drink and dinner. We took the baby to make it easy for grandma. Maybe the baby hindered our alcohol service, maybe it's just Texas Roadhouse. Did not live up to the hype. Waitress also didn't serve us rolls in a timely manner. Served us one basket after we got our drinks and we had to ask for more right before leaving as we assumed she would've asked us earlier and she didn't. Meanwhile she offered to give the neighboring table more multiple times. Was very friendly with them, not us. Felt a little disappointed. First night out without all 4 kids in a long time. Food was good. We like the loaded sweet potato side.

We dined here for the first time today. Wait staff is very friendly and food is great. When you arrive they walk you to your table and a basket of warm rolls and cinnamon butter is placed on the table. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a pleasant dining experience.

Had a filet done perfectly Salad was good loved the Italian dressing Only negative it loud but you know it’s that kind of place Server was very good
