Bidra med feedbackThe agritourism is not only desirable for hikers. No, even with the local regulars! That is why we were looking forward to this new visit. I wouldn't call myself regulars, but we'd like to come here. After the long lockdown, the visit was important to us and my telephone reservation was welcomed by the boss. In the early evening we met at the well maintained hotel restaurant. Many tables in the outside and inside were already occupied. To the table, the boss, Mrs. Wörgerbauer, accompanied us. The description of a farmyard fits here. The cosy ambience suffered from the implemented corona editions. But this is not the ambitious hosts. Ms. Wörgerbauer also, together with senior manager Resi, enters the further attentive service. I pay respect for her tireless commitment, but she is at the clear age of the earned retirement. True to the motto “who rastets, the rostet” she follows her call. Our order: 1 bottle of mineral water, 0.7 l – fair € 4,00. 1 dry rosé, 0.2 l € 4.20. Lucky for the Nahewinzer. Not known to me and therefore not noticed. Drinkable, but very flat. The wish for a 2nd glass did not arise. 2 non-alcoholic pils, 0.33 l € 2,20. Fresh pifferlings were offered on the daily table, but not domestic pifferlings. We can provide ourselves with local pluckers (after 3 drought years) and did not accept this fine and seasonal offer. The menu offers regional, also very good vegetarian, dishes. Also wild dishes from own domestic hunting and some Austrian dishes from the home of the cook and boss Mr. Wörgerbauer. We chose the Viennese Schnitzel from the calf with pommes, cranberries and salad € 16.30. Our fresh and fine side salads were served in advance. Tenderless leaves and raw food salads with light cream dressing. Little later our Wiener Schnitzel, served by Mr. Wörgerbauer personally. We had the good appetite that was kindly desired. There was nothing to be expected about fresh preparation. The veal well panned and juicy roasted. Classic garnish with parsley and lemon, separately with lingonberries. Wiener Schnitzel Nevertheless, we remembered the Wiener Schnitzel exactly 2 years ago in Cologne with “table notes” in the Essers. Also here the Austrian in the kitchen. And if you draw the comparisons to the “Wiener”: Austria Cologne wins. But we weren't on our way to comparison. Here, too, the Wiener Schnitzel completely tasted us in the truest sense of the word. And the Pommes were really top-class! Well saturated, kindly adopted, always happy to be worth a visit.
