This is a beautiful open air restaurant with a large garden and well manicured lawns. Unfortunately, the place is usually booked for parties and weddings throughout the year, so the restaurant remains out of bounds. This year they organized a Kolkata Biryani and Kebab festival...during the Puja holidays, which was a great excuse to visit the restaurant. The food was fantastic on the first day of the festival. The two kebab items, chicken reshmi and chicken malai, were mouth-wateringly tasty and really lived up to their respective names. The biryanis were also excellent, fragrant and light. On the second day, the quality had deteriorated significantly; to be fair, the rush of customers was huge late into the night, and the chefs must have been really overworked. A great experience, hope for a repeat again next year.
