Wong's - Devon

My husband and I had the worst lunch in years at this restaurant. The place was dirty and unkempt, with garbage under the tables and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in days. Salt and pepper were missing from most tables, including ours, and were never brought out. We ordered four Filipino dishes and a large steamed rice to share. The bicol express and chicken and pork adobo were edible but underwhelming. The other two dishes were inedible, with one being overly seasoned with cheap shrimp paste and the other being dry and tasteless. When we mentioned this to the owner, they refused to offer any discount or remove the dishes from the bill. It's no surprise we were the only customers there. We will not be returning.

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

This hidden gem is incredibly delicious! I have tried the lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls, sweet and sour pork, ginger beef, ginger and onion beef, salt and pepper squid, onion cake, egg rolls, and everything was made to perfection. The meat just melts in your mouth! This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Though there may be a bit of a wait, everything is made fresh so it's worth it. You won't be disappointed!
