I tried Les Deux Gamins for the first time while in Montreal. The soups were amazing - I had the French Onion and the Creamed Root, served with fresh bread.

Ce restaurant est maintenant fermé. C'était un resto sympathique où l'on servait une cuisine familiale. Le jour où je suis allée, il n'y avait que trois plats au menu, l'entrée et le dessert étaient inclus. Le service était correct.

This place is a gem. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly reasonable in price. The French onion soup was amazing and I love French onion soup and try it all over. The portions are ver generous and the table d'hôte was great! Can't say enough good things about this place and will definitely be back. Go, you won't be disappointed. Our server was very nice, but a little inexperienced and could use some training.
