Jojo's Shake Detroit

It was busy so I don't know what I expected, but our server is often gone and we had to call others to get help. eating was not as good as expected, but it was okay I guess and the shakes are over hyped.

It was not at all how I imagined from photos. Food is extremely basic, can get a better shake from McDonald’s, it was dead on a Saturday night. I didn’t even bother with a drink. Looks good on instagram but I’ll pass. I spent over $400 and all my daughter got was an unlit candle in her shake (paid for) to recognize her birthday.

Ordered The Codfather with fries. The sandwich was bland, the fries were cold. We sent back the fries. The donut, cookie and pretzel on the shake must have been a week old. They were not edible. The service was incredibly slow. Overall not a good experience. Will not be going back.

I like ranch dressing to eat with my fries and sometimes on my burger if it's dry. I think it's sad that if you are spending a lot of money on your food and drinks that you would charge cents to get some ranch dressing.

We took our daughter there as a family to celebrate her birthday. Made a reservation2 weeks in advance. Ordered appetizers and told they had no plates available, to use napkins. Also no silverware. We finally got 3 forks and one knife for the 5 of us towards the 3rd time my husband’s food came back. My husband’s and oldest daughter burgers were brought out and not what they ordered. No big deal. So they take it back and get my daughters correct and then proceed to mess up my husband’s 3 more times. They literally took the patty away from his burger at one point. Once the bill came the server told us there was an automatic 18% gratuity placed on the bill, no matter the size of the party. Then as paying it asks if you would like to leave yet another tip. Our bill came to 160 something, which we expected. Mind you only 3 of us had shakes and two had water. What we didn’t expect was the quality of food to be so mediocre. Considering the cost of food there is no reason not to have plates, silverware and prepare a cheeseburger. Had it been short staffed I would have felt better about the service. They were actually fully staffed.
