Bidra med feedbackGreat experience, great staff, ok food. I think they're preparing to spec, it's just bland cuisine (imo). Bucket list Detroit location
I always have an amazing time at the Dakota Inn! Perfect place to have authentic hardy German meal. The Bavarian pretzel is a MUST as an appetizer, and the apple strudel is delicious. Piano singer started at 7pm, and the staff were very friendly. Call a few days ahead to get reservations around the holidays. Will be frequenting this restaurant for years to come! Parking: Fenced in parking lot with security attendant in booth. Can fill up if busy, overflow lot is located across the street. Not fenced.
I served overseas in Germany for 10 of the last 32-years. Growing up in the 80s, this place was a family hang. Now, it’s in a rundown neighborhood, the menu is very limited, and the food quality is so poor that it doesn’t match a German Autobahn gas station! The Jägerschnitzel I ate yesterday looked and tasted like a prepared frozen meal. The schnitzel appeared deep fried and the gravy looked like bad thanksgiving store bought jar.
A tremendous experience! One of the best places in Detroit. Always a fun time especially if you enjoy singing with everyone. They have great atmosphere, comraderie, and the Kurtz family does a great job running the place. The food is really good, especially the German potato salad. I love this place! Parking: They have a guaarded parking lot.
The food is equal to a frozen tv dinner. Horrible!!!
