Horizons - Destin

Not sure what happened here, maybe because it was a weeknight. But the service, and the food was not as good as one would think, as part of a high scale environment. There were only two other tables being served, yet we waited a long time for service. Food was just above mediocre, and the dessert, Nutella cheesecake was not good at all. A bit disappointed; I've been staying at this resort regularly for the last seven years.

Valentine's Day experience was not worth the money at all. The regular menu is better. If you can't guarantee consistency and quality, you shouldn't do a specialty menu.

Our service was great, Jennifer was very accommodating and friendly. Food was amazing. My husband had yellow tail with jalapeño and pork belly appetizers. OMG, so good. I had chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots. ? It was my birthday weekend so the restaurant presented us with a beautiful dessert. ?

We were extremely disappointed that our favorite entree was already unavailable even with an early reservation for New Year's Eve. Appeared to be poor planning. Otherwise we were pleased!

Food, when received after an hour and a half of waiting for it in a lightly busy restaurant, was good. However, for the price, the service was scattered and unpleasant. Do not recommend due to the experience and unmet expectations. Third try here and no better. The hotel is lovely but they can't figure out the restaurant.
