Le Bistrot Des Fous

This was literally across the road from where we were stay but we tended to walk towards the town rather then 20m in the other direction! I found it on TA and we were not disappointed. A funky bar with a small but excellent selection of food. The recommended wine was great and our fish was excellent. Sorry we did not find it before, it is a bar and excellent place to enjoy a drink outside in the afternoon.

We've been here for a dinner after being bounced from many restaurants. The location is very soft and cool. Menu is not that rich but everything on it looks tasty and particular. I've tried a pizza focaccia which was incredibly tall, light and awesome...and huge!

Visited after reading great reviews on trip advisor. They were all right. I had the best pasta dish ever and my husband had the sea bass. The ladies on the table behind had a meat platter which looked amazing and they said it was very good. Don't be put off by the location as inside it is really quirky. Our only disappointment was that it closes on a tues because we really wanted to go back.

This restaurant is indescribable, it’s perfect in every way . Great staff , tasty food , value for money and we visited in September so it wasn’t too busy . We kept going back because the owners are so great and friendly .

We came across this little restaurant by accident on a walk into the central district of Desenzano. It has a quaint, traditional interior reminiscent of the 1930s. The staff were friendly and helpful although most items on the menu were in English. Dishes are quite simple but carefully prepared. Most are great value but we felt the deserts varied in size. Good selection of gins.
