China King - Des Peres

Tried this location for lunch via Door Dash because of how well liked other China King locations are. Three positives: 1) super fast! 2) The order came in a super cute reusable bag, and 3) the crab ragoon was delicious. Everyone got different things, and no one was happy. The chicken didn't feel or taste like chicken. Almost everything had a fishy taste. Egg rolls were burnt. Oh, and we did get fortune cookies that were good, not that those are made in-house. Overall, pretty disappointed especially compared to other China King locations. Wouldn't recommend and won't order again.

Great food from a great family. It's my local favorite.

Pretty sad when you make an order on Door Dash. Get charged $47, then when the food gets here, we're missing items, and on the ticket attached to the bag it says you charged us $29. So why did I get charged 47. Then when we say add an egg to the fried rice, you don't even mix the egg like a normal place? You've mixed the egg before. Why not now. Won't order from this location again.

You cannot go wrong with the appetizer sampler platter!

The lo mein smells AWFUL, like dirty chitterlings. The shrimp was literally a shrimp tail and breading, and the 2 wings in the combination platter was literally one wing broken in 2.
