Wasabi Chi - Des Moines

This restaurant in Des Moines, IA is simply the best surprise! I love everything about it! It is extremely clean, with great food, a wonderful bar, and spectacular service. I definitely recommend visiting this place at least twice!

I was in Des Moines for USPS training and my trainer, Mike, suggested this restaurant for sushi. It was a great recommendation as the ramen and sushi were both delicious. The takoyaki had a unique BBQ smell and taste that I had never experienced before, but I was very pleased with Mike's suggestion.

Wasabi Chi never fails to impress. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. I ordered sushi and sashimi, and it was delicious. The green salad and squid salad were also very tasty. One great thing about Wasabi Chi is that they offer more than just sushi – they have ramen noodles and Japanese/Chinese dishes as well. Whatever you're in the mood for, they likely have it. The atmosphere was decent as well.

Fav sushi spot in Johnston! I literally always order the same thing: Marilyn Monroll, spicy edamame, and white tuna nigiri. Their white tuna is the BEST white tuna I?ve ever had and I am a sushi connoisseur. Freaking delicious! It is definitely alittle overpriced but it?s really good for when you want to splurge.

Excellent sushi! Great service. Definitely will be back. Overall, a great experience!
