Origin Vietnamese Bistro - Des Moines

Good atmosphere, really tasty food, good beers on tap. They have an area for dining and a separate bar. They have a nice outdoor dining section with a view of the water. Reasonable prices.

It's a nice place. Friendly staff. They have a nice menu with a good amount of selection. I would come back and try their rice plates or vermicelli bowl. I had pho because of a craving. It was ok.

The food is delicious but the meat in both dishes was not enough. I had chicken phone and it had less than 1/3 of the chicken other restaurants serve. Everything else was outstanding. The jalapeno slices were the hottest I've ever tasted.

I recently dined at a new restaurant in Des Moines and was impressed with the cleanliness, great and friendly service, and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant for families, kids, or a date night.

This restaurant in Des Moines serves the best Vietnamese food. I highly recommend trying the grilled shrimp wrap, which is priced at $16.50 and comes with a generous portion of 9 large shrimp.
