Lj's Burgers Ice Cream - Des Moines

Visiting my son from Shallotte, NC and bought a chocolatier ice cream cake for his 40th birthday. I have to say we all thought it was the best we ever had! I definitely recommend!

Burgers of my childhood! I remember going here when I was in high school in it's previous incarnation as Little John's and they still make their wonderful char broiled burger! Fantastic tenderloins too! And the fries? Crispy outside, tender inside and absolutely outstanding! WAY better than the chains!

While we didn't order anything but ice cream I have to commend them for their customer service. We had actually arrived after closing but they kept their drive thru open for our ice cream orders. Ice cream tastes great too !!!

Great little place, always stop when driving by, Little John great burger.

Always good service and I just love the shakes and pizza burgers. Yummyness!
