Blaze Pizza - Des Moines

Excellent pizza joint with a modern decor. Parking is in a gated lot. (Don't forget to validate your ticket at the register- 2hrs free) The service is good, and menu is self explanatory. The pizza topping choices are ample. They have a multitude of drink choices as well from soda to juice drinks. There is also a gated outside dining area for when the weather is nice.

Blaze is my favorite spot for a quick and affordable pizza and HELLO VEGAN OPTIONS! <3 They team at this location is so friendly and nice too! Every interaction I've had with them has been great! I personally love the large pizza because the dough is so good and so soft. When I'm feeling like a gluten free day, the vegan gluten free dough option is great too. I love that they are so accommodating to folks with food sensitivities and preferences! If you are thinking about getting cheezy bread DO IT. It's so good!

Fav.pizza joint. Choose pizza off menu have control of the toppings adding sub. w/o hassle or extra cost. Size of pizza, quality array of not your traditional topping makes it unbeatable. Located downtown it can get a little busy so possible wait time but not long. willing to wait in line for a moment but it goes quick. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating great for a fight or to take the family,

I love their crust. I got high rise dough, with white sauce as the base. The dough was so crispy and delicious. We also got their new cheesy bread which was freaking amazing. The lemonade is pretty sour. But the brownies and s'mores pies are to die for. Especially when you ask them to warm them up in the oven for you. ???????? this location is severely understaffed, so expect to wait for a while for your pizza. I only saw 4 people working in the entire place. Generally, it takes about 6 to 7 people to make that line run smoothly. So be patient... It's worth it. There are little scooters you can ride around and a really nice patio when its warm.

I use to go here all the time over one year ago and it was always a great experience. I just went tonight and The service, employees and overall presentation of the place has went downhill! Not sure if the employees are getting paid well but they looked drained and not well kept. A few were wiping their nose and the oven guy seemed to be drenched in sweat. They were also very rude except for one girl which was doing the dough. When I went to pay for my order I also asked for a medium fountain drink. The guy taking my order slides me over a cup that had been sitting on the counter (for who knows how long). I asked for a new cup please, he got an attitude and grabbed a new one. He had an attitude the whole time. On top that I got my pizza home and the bottom was burnt, like they didn?t clean the oven. I WILL NOT ever go back here again and will be letting everyone I use to send here not to go. Would have gave 0 stars if I could. The fact that I don?t usually write reviews, tells me this was a horrible experience.
