Miss Marddles Tea Room

Beautiful little place. Friendly service. Homemade cakes, and the scones are amazing. Sit and relax with an elegant cup of tea served with the best China tea cups. Would recommend taking 30 minutes out of your day to relax here. Well done owner and staff, a very enjoyable experience.

What an absolute delight! My husband and I visited here today and were served with lovely food and drinks. The service was great and much appreciated especially as we had sat in another cafe for 1 hour prior to visiting Miss Marddles tea room resulting in us cancelling our request. The owner of Miss Marddles was attentive and efficient...in less than 15 minutes of our arrival we were tucking into delicious food and drinks. Well done !

Being a young, cool city boy I naturally..... love this place. It's like going to your Nan's for your dinner, lovely food, great big slices of cake and having a laugh, and then having to pay them instead of them giving you a pound for sweets or something. Tea is served the proper way with strainers and some awesome teapots. You've got to go visit if you're in Matlock.

Lovely tea shop in Matlock. This bright and spacious establishment has incredibly friendly staff. We ordered a pot of tea for four and were pleasantly surprised by the generously-sized teapot and jug of boiling water, enough for at least three cups each. The tea was made with loose leaves, resulting in a delicious cuppa. The selection of cakes was also very tempting. Overall, a great place to stop by while exploring the local shops.
