The Wardwick Tavern - Derby

Stepping into Wardwick Tavern feels like stepping back in time. The establishment exudes a sense of history and has clearly seen its fair share of beer consumption over the years.

I visited in January 2013 for an afternoon tea with a friend and I really enjoyed it! The doorstep wedge sandwiches were great. I only tried the cheese and egg fillings, so I can't comment on the others.

I had a fantastic experience at The Wardwick Tavern. The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning in the future.

We attended the lgbt night on Sunday. Bar man was very rude telling us ' i know this is a night for your kind but I want to go to the hairy dog so...
