The Tea Cosy - Derby

I went to this restaurant for afternoon tea on Mother's Day and left feeling completely full! The experience was great value, with a wide variety of options and delicious cakes. We will definitely return in the future.

First time visiting here. Got take away cakes, gingerbread people and box of 6 mince Pies. both the ladies running this tea rooms are So very friendly and they are clearly 2 really nice people that are very passionate about providing good homemade food at reasonable price. the cafe itself is very clean and nicely set up, its an Excellent place for a nice hot drink and beautifully made homemade cake with friends and family . the food/cakes purchased where really very tasty and very good homemade quality. enjoyed them very much. Would highly recommended the bakewell tart.... bakewell tart was really beautiful...delicious Pastry. Definitely be back. Highly recommend people visit

The restaurant has implemented Covid-19 procedures, however, the owner and staff should make sure to inform all customers, even familiar ones, that they must wear face coverings until they are seated. The coffee and cake were delicious, and the service was friendly and welcoming.

Visited the Tea Cosy with my partner for coffee and cake, we ordered two lattes and a large slice of red velvet cake (which was to die for) all for £7! Staff were very friendly and we were able to sit outside. We will be coming back!

Great tea!, so much food!! Quiche, sandwiches, cakes, cream scone, trifle, as much tea as you want. Great price, Parking over the road. Great service Had doggy bag cos too much to eat!!
