Pizza Express - Derby

Absolutely amazing after our previous visit to the Irongate branch. We went with slight trepidation. Service was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Sorry, I can’t remember our waiter’s name but we were on table 14. Food was amazing, no faults at all. My husband’s pizza was tweaked to his liking with no fuss or bother. All orders taken from memory which I think is brilliant. Then again that’s probably my age as I wouldn’t remember after 30 seconds.

My mother and I went to celebrate my recent promotion and engagement. We were treated exceptionally well and had all of our needs taken care of. We will certainly be returning in the future!

I had planned to write a review about the great time my daughter and her friends had at Pizza Express, Irongate restaurant today, but unfortunately, they had to cancel the party the night before at 8pm. This was after I had received a confirmation email earlier. It was incredibly inconvenient to receive such late notice on a Saturday night. My daughter was upset after overhearing the conversation. I hope we receive some form of compensation for this inconvenience, such as vouchers or free pizza. Overall, this situation was absolutely ridiculous.

Lovely food and excellent service especially from Laurelle- friendly and knowledgeable about the food . Definitely returning soon Derbion, Derby restaurant)

What can I say,after me making a big mistake thinking I'd booked our meal for 17.15pm..I'd only gone and booked it for 15.15pm..so 2 hours later , due to got to a concert at Derby Cathedral Peter the deputy manager soon sorted the situation out ..he got us a table straight away we ordered drinks they came straight away, Our ceaser salads followed..they were delicious Thanks again Peter you are a star ..sorry for the inconvenience we may have caused, but you dealt with it in a suburb professional Manor thank you Best wishes Cathryn and Karen
