Teachers’ Lounge Food Drink - Denver

The food was fantastic and the hotel is really cozy and beautifully decorated. We had the bison meatloaf starter, the salmon and the gnocchi and they were all beyond our expectations.

Great little hidden gem, that we were able to find on short notice. Great menu, and the server did a great job of meeting our time table.

Haven 't never been there, it was a little hard to figure out how to get into the building. Food was AMAZING! LOVED our server but he seemed a little overwhelmed with a lot of tables. Ambience was as advertised, like a teachers lounge. Perhaps didn 't fit the high end, so good food. Was a great a little off the beaten path but close restaurant when going to a show at the DCPA.

The best service and food we’ve gotten! Food was so goood! Would recommend this for anyone staying at the Slate.

Seems no one has properly trained staff on hospitality practices and good service. Heard a waiter approach the table next to us (and then same approach with us) Hi, so what can I get you? Anyone who has served before knows that’s not the opener for your table… everything was “fine” but it was not a high level experience. Another server who was new could be overheard apologizing profusely to each of the tables she was working with. Felt bad for her honestly, she didn’t seem ready to be serving solo.
