Solitaire - Denver

The music was a little loud. I saw you outside. eating is amazing. will be back.

Restaurant comfort and ambiance were wonderful. Started with cocktails and appetizers on the gorgeous outdoor patio. Cocktails were created and mixed by the great bartenders. Moved indoors for main meal. Ordered about a third of the menu items each was unique and amazing. Some were quite pricey for the portion size but each bite was exceptional. Never had better short ribs anywhere. Sampled two desserts that were also outstanding.

Great food but kitchen delivery was painfully slow.

Felt like celebrities. Hostess had reserved a table in the corner, providing a wonderful view of the neighborhood scene. The staff was very attentive in a discrete way and joyfully answered all of our questions about the menu. During the course of our two hour meal, we never felt rushed. The appetizers immediately convinced us that Solitaire was the right choice for celebrating our anniversary. Never realized how amazing beets and tomatoes could taste if presented the right way. Wanting to relish the whole experience, we selected a third appetizer, the Rock Shrimp. Definitely a great choice. The Rock Shrimp had a sensational crust and by the time we had savored every morsel, we were getting full. For our main entrees, we selected the halibut and pork shank. Again, excellent choices. Each bite provided a series of taste sensations. Between the appetizers and the amazing entrees, we were too full to indulge in dessert. Look forward to sharing Solitaire with family members.

We had an excellent meal and experience. Everything was very nice and the restaurant has many cool spaces inside and out. Was not a fast meal, but more the way that dining should be.
