Pho Saigon Star - Denver

This place does have some great pho. The service was quick when ordering and delivering the meal in a timely manner. Although, the parking was a bit tricky since the restaurant is located in a corner which can be challenging to find if you’re not using GPS. Overall, my experience with this place has been great.

Great dinner, loved the pho. The gentleman who took care of us was very friendly and attentive. Would and will definitely go back. Update- we go at least twice a month and it's always excellent!

I recently called to place a pickup order at Saigon Star, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. I called at 8:18 PM, 40 minutes before their scheduled closing time of 9 PM, and the way they handled my order was rather disappointing.Upon calling, I informed them that I would arrive 20 minutes before closing to pick up my food. However, instead of accommodating the order with a welcoming attitude, they seemed eager to rush me through the process. The staff indicated that their kitchen would be closing soon, making it feel as if they were unwilling to accept my order in the first place. By the way my order was only two bowls of pho.Adding to my discomfort, they insisted on taking my credit card information over the phone for payment, citing the impending closure as the reason. Despite the time still being well before closing, I felt uneasy sharing sensitive information over the phone, and it seemed like an unnecessary and unprofessional approach.While I understand that restaurants have closing procedures, it is essential to treat customers with respect and courtesy until the designated closing time. I believe there could have been a more customer-friendly way to handle the situation without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable.Additionally, they may want to consider other secure payment options to avoid putting customers in uneasy situations.

We had never been to this restaurant but we were craving some spring rolls! We love spring rolls. So we call ahead to make a take out order. The lady on the phone was rude and couldn't understand us. I repeated our order and then she hung up and we actually had more food to order. We ended up having to make a new order there. The food was ready fast but in my life I have never had disgusting spring rolls! Idk what they do or how they make their peanut sauce but it tasted like sh . It was like watery and I couldn't even eat it after my 1st initial bite with my roll. My friend said the same thing about his order of spring rolls. I usually am not one to even post a review but it was costly and we both didn't even eat our rolls. Pretty disappointing but we won't be going there again.

This is by far the best Vietnamese food we’ve had. It’s a hidden gem in the DU area. I highly recommend and I don’t usually leave reviews for restaurants. The food is delicious and the owners are always so nice.
