Bidra med feedbackIt sucked because it is closed for good open table. we drove around 20 minutes to find it. someone finally told us they closed for business. are they more open table!
When we arrived, they had a note on the door and said they were not business.
Popular place on a Saturday night, already out of items on the menu by 7:00. Soup was heavy on the cream, meats were prepared well and flavorful, sides were not as tasty. Seating was plastic chairs or booth seats- the plastic chairs were uncomfortable and did not seem to go with the atmosphere that is expected at a restaurant serving food at the level they seem to be targeting.
What a disappointment. The noise level made it impossible to have a conversation. Too many mistakes with the order, wait time and bill. The food quality was marginal. For example the $3.00 side of bread was actually two thin, dry slices of bread, with an overly lemon flavor. These were served on a plate with a tiny circle of olive oil and vinegar. The wild mushroom lasagna was surprisingly plain. It was simply pasta sheets with some mushrooms and cheese. Be sure to check your bill. We were charged for the wrong (more expensive) wine.
We really liked the artichoke soup and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Gelato. The restaurant was so deafeningly loud that we asked to be moved to the bar, which was empty, if less comfortable. The serving people were totally dedicated to giving a positive experience, but the food, other than those two items, did not impress. The sauce for the gnocchi was water and salty. The chicken was salty and dry. The location is nice, the restaurant ambiance looked nice. But we could not hear each other across the table.
