Bidra med feedbackFeeling a little Irish? How about some Grateful Dead? I wasn't at first til I came in on this snowy Wednesday. Jim and his crew have been awesomeness, tell me what's better to warm your bones than a shot of Jameson and a bowl of they're soup. I'm broke and mid move but I will be back to try the food tomorrow.
Great Irish pub. We had the Shepherd's Pie and the Irish nachos. The mimosas were on special price at the time of our visit. $4.00! (Sunday brunch) Our server was polite and checked on us frequently. Great background music. Plenty of tvs for sports fans as well.
The doorman Griz absolutely made our night here. From the minute we walked in, as a female he mentioned that if we needed anything to let him know. As a service industry veteran, this meant a lot. He is kind and attentive and thorough in everything that he does in keeping everyone safe. The bar staff was cool and patient as well, but I want to highlight Griz's contribution to the safety and functioning of our experience. He is absolutely amazing!! This place is a lot of fun!
This place is fantastic! If you happen to be in the Baker neighborhood of Denver do yourself a favor and stop by Dougherty’s for some delicious whiskey and soup and say hi to Wes (the owner and Winston (his chocolate lab/maitre d’ thank me later.
I can't rave enough about the down home, neighborhood feel about this spot. You will feel right at home here having a pint and the food is fantastic. No pizza in a microwave here. This is is good ol' Irish home cooking. Everything is fresh and from scratch. I had a Reuben sandwich that was outta this world and washed it down with a couple o' pints of Guinness. If you wanna feel like a local and a part of the neighborhood, Dougherty's is a must stop.
