Cholo Ass Vegan - Denver

I enjoyed everything I tried at this restaurant. Although I didn't try their main dishes, the prepared seitan was a bit softer than I usually like, but it still worked well in a variety of dishes. If you come across their pop-up, definitely give them a try.

I ordered 6 tamales and elote from this restaurant and it was hands down the best Vegan Mexican food I've had in Denver. I can't wait to go back and have it again.

Be ready to have the best Mexican food in Denver vegan or otherwise when eating Cholo Ass Vegan. They’re simply the best. I could take my whole Mexican family here and they wouldn’t know the difference. They have a great carne asada and Al pastor taco, and the best elote in town. Highly recommend following them on @cholo_ass_vegan on Instagram to know where they will be next since they’re a food truck/catering business.

Ive ordered a 1lb container of carne asada from them through Instagram whenever they do a drop it’s excellent and easy for weeknight tacos! The flavor is incredible and the texture can’t be beat.

The tacos are delicious. I tried them at an event and they are always a popular choice wherever they go. The wait is definitely worth it.
