Cafeteria Magallanes - Denia

Ordered a tapas of cheese and ham. Cheese too cold and some slices of ham dried and hard. Wine ok. Looks the business but don’t be fooled, tourist cafe

This cafe is within the mercado municipal in Denia and not a quiet spot. However it's pretty vibrant with lots to see while you are sipping your coffee. Only had my breakfast here a couple of times but plenty of people drinking alcohol and eating tapas and seemingly enjoying it.... some of it looked pretty good! €2.50 gives you a coffee or tea of your choice, toasted bread with tomato spread and a freshly squeezed juice .Tasted good.

Delicious dried octopus with peppercorns and olive oil. Really tasty boquerones with olives and olive oil. A massive selection of Spanish sausage morcilla and chorizo. All with the buzz of the market in the background.

The service is excellent and the rich and high quality food, indigenous food with fresh products of the market. highly recommended
