For years we have only experienced the best service and quality and quantity of food. People are beautiful, friendly and welcoming.
In short, during our week of work in California, this was the best meal we've had so far! The interior has that classic diner vibe you’d expect—good smells, an older crowd, and vintage decor. I ordered the Country Benedict, which I’d rate a solid 9/10 for taste and a perfect 10/10 for portion size. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and gave it a full 10/10. She also loved the land potatoes. I went for hash browns, but after tasting hers, I regretted not getting the land potatoes too! Our oldest daughter had an omelet and enjoyed it immensely, while the younger kids had pancakes, bacon, and sausage. We requested crispy bacon, and it didn't disappoint; the kids loved their breakfast as well. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience for all of us. The total for five of us, including water and one orange juice, came to $92.00, which is quite high compared to Texas prices, but that's just California for you. I can’t recommend this place enough—absolutely fantastic!
This is a fantastic spot for dining out with family, friends, or a special someone. The food is both delicious and expertly prepared. The restaurant is well-maintained, with clean tables, decorations, and restrooms. The service is outstanding, with attentive waitstaff who are knowledgeable about the menu. Generals Cafe also has a website, making it easy to find. I highly recommend Generals Cafe and Grill for a meal with loved ones at any time.
I had an excellent breakfast that was fresh and delicious. The waitress was fantastic and very attentive. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit. Thanks!
