This is my first time trying this place out, my first impression the cleanliness of the place, thumbs up on that. Second, spacious with plenty of tables to dine in and friendly staff. My choice of food brisket and sausage, with a side of beans and potato salad. The brisket is not the best but not bad as well as the sausage, bbq sauce adds a good kick to the meats. The beans are good as well as the potato salad. Good place to eat.

The driest, toughest most flavorless brisket I've ever had. The bbq sauce was bland and couldn't help that terrible piece of meat.

While passing through Del Rio, I was in the mood for some BBQ. The choice was between Hot Pit and Rudy's. I have Rudy's commonly, so I decided to try the local flavor. Bad mistake.The brisket was seriously lacking in flavor and was dry. Their sauce was bland; I honestly believe it was the worst BBQ sauce I have ever tasted.Half of their protein choices were not available; The ribs and chicken were M.I.A.The potato salad was a sorry joke and the beans were a lame punchline.If you like BBQ, heed my warning and avoid this place. Nothing good will happen if you eat there.

I come here all the time love the rids and brisket the staff is always awesome
