Sugar Beach - Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia

This restaurant is an amazing spot for hanging out. Some nights the music can be a bit too loud, but the quieter evenings are fantastic. Occasionally, a firefighter entertains with fire tricks right outside the restaurant on the beach. While some of the staff may be rude, overall I highly recommend this place. And the best part is, you can enjoy the beach right next to the restaurant.

This restaurant is the first one to close its kitchen at 9:30 pm, so customers must order ahead if they don't want to go to another restaurant. The atmosphere is great and everything is good. It's a nice place to hang out with a private feel.

Beautiful place to crack a cold with the young ones. amazing atmosphere and even amazing cocktails that are a bit on the expensive side. eating here is not in the most generous portions, or is not even the most delicious. their sweet potato frries are an absolute färger

Worst experience!!!! 2022-May 01st. We went to the place and we waited more than 30min for a waiter to get the order. They were all running around without noticing us. After we are done eating, it took 15 min for a waiter to get the bill And the worst part is that prices mentioned on the menu are not the actual prices. After we got the bill we were charged so much and they mentioned they have written the updated prices in the menu with a pen and it has got erased. But i couldn’t see any updated prices written in the menu. And the food they offered was basic. I could eat an international buffet in a 5 star hotel for that price WORST BEACH RESTAURANT IN MOUNT LAVINIA. Never ever recommending this place to anyone.
