Pappa Geno's - Deer Park

Amazing cheese steak. Reminds me of back home. Every time we go it's dead, I hope this place sticks around for a long time. I hope the owner knows we love this place!

Food was okay. Served super hot hard to eat. Steak was over seasoned with black pepper. Fries were a bit over cooked. Customer service was terrible. With staff not being too friendly or welcoming. Will not be back.Food: 3/5

Food may be ok idk. I called and called trying to place a to go order with no answer. or they would just hang up. So I placed a doordash order for pick up, but upon arrival the order was never confirmed. Then I went inside and stood at the counter and called the phone number and it rang, they just chose not to answer. So if you only have a limited time on your lunch break don't come here. Terrible customer service. If you have time to wait who knows it may be pretty good.

I heard through a coworker that they had a Philly cheesesteak cheese burger and it was really good. Of course I was interested. So I call from work to tell him we wanted to order 5 of the Philly cheesesteak cheeseburgers he said with an attitude do you want a 21 or a 22. I said I don't know I don't have a menu. He said well I need to know what you want. So I listed off the ingredients I wanted and he said once again with an attitude 21 or 22. So I asked for him to explain the difference and he said to look on the menu. We don't have good service at work but I tried to pull it up. It took a little while and he just hung up on me without saying a word. I figured maybe he was having a bad day. We ordered another time. I made sure I knew exactly what it was this time what we wanted. I asked him to confirm the order and he just says it will be ready in 10-15 minutes and hangs up. The #21 is good no doubt. But be sure to minimize the conversation between you and the guy who works there if you want to avoid ruining the experience.

Prices are good staff is friendly food is great place is pretty good I'd go back only thing I'd say to work on is atmosphere place was empty and cold didn't feel very welcomed but would return for delicious food.... I got the patty melt and I loved it....
