Bidra med feedbackVisiting family members in Illinois and was suggested by a family member who eats at Biaggi frequently that we meet there for lunch. There were 7 of us and everyone enjoyed there lunch. Excellent food, good service and we did not feel rushed even though we lingered over lunch. Hopefully one day we will have a Biaggi in the Phoenix area.
Food was fatty and covered in sauce. Fish was not fresh tasting. That 's probably why the sauce was heavy. Our waiter went on and on, forever, about his diet , and how much weight that he lost, like we went out to eat specifically to meet him, and hear his life story. Then, when I commented that I was tired of hearing about his diet, he made a point to shake my husband 's hand, and tell him It was really great talking to you, man like we came to the restaurant to meet him. AWFUL, I have never experienced that kind of hideous service.
4/30/2009 Biaggi 's Carryout Experience When I arrived at 6:05 PM neither of the two bartenders would give me my carryout order. There were two customers in front of me, but I called in my order ahead and it was sitting on the bar. After waiting 10 minutes as I watched my order get cold, and after my request for help was ignored, one of the bartenders finally gave me my order. Unfortunately, by that time the heat from the food in the paper shopping bag had steamed loose the bag 's seams. As I stepped into my vehicle the bag broke and red sauce splattered all over my clothes and car seats. I went back to the restaurant and asked for a towel. The bartender who had given me my order handed me a dry napkin, commented wow, that 's really bad, and asked me if I wanted more sauce for my meal (seriously! . I left, spent 30 minutes cleaning my car, threw out my ruined pants, and then enjoyed a nice meal with my family. The food 's great, but I will never return.

The food was greasy and drowning in sauce, and the fish didn't taste fresh at all. That might explain the heavy sauce. Our waiter spent far too long talking about his diet and how much weight he had lost, as if we had come to the restaurant just to hear his life story. When I showed signs of losing interest in his discussion, he made a point to shake my husband's hand and said, "It was really great to talk to you, man," as though we had come to the restaurant to meet him. It was an awful experience; I have never encountered such terrible service before.
