Bidra med feedbackWe parked on the street next to the museum and took the way to a main hall. A nonsense basket announced the prices and we paid. She gave us a reception and a brochure and said prison here, cars over there. Perfect when you look at the place! We started going through the prison buildings and took time to read the displays. What sad stories, which ingenious ways people had to be both bad and hopeful. After a while, I got kicked out because it reminded me too much of prison movies, but that was and is really life. The car stuff was also quite neat, but not lying, I liked the gift shop best because they have tidy stuff, beautifully made in Montana pottery (and half fun jail shirts). Overall, many emotions for me, but for others in our group, they were fascinated by the open-minded and personal view of history and things. Definitely worth a visit whatever your feelings are. It is educational and important.
The participant locked us in prison and went for the day.!!! It was 17:12 and they closed at 6:00. We were the only two tours on the grounds, so they had to know we were in there. We finished our own guided tour and when we came back to the exit, we found the gate locked and the participants had gone. We cried for help, but no one came. We called her office and went to Voicemail. Reckless in the name. We had to find our own way out and I'm going to leave him.
I and my wife loved this place so much and Addison and he was great when you go say hello to him and enjoy his knowledge. And the fun doesn't stop there, it's good for like three other museums that are also very cool all for the same price.
A ton of history! Very pleasant to see all old cars. And the old prison tour was very instructive
Way to cool , wish we would have gone sooner so much to see and we didn’t have enough time to go through the automobile museum and the prison . I am usually not into paranormal, but there was definitely a heavy feeling walking through some of the rooms . Most likely just from reading some of the incidents that happened there .
