Fantastic loose meat burgers... we have to get it every time we're home. Awesome onion rings and taters too!

Have to admit the name of the motel which is apart of their restaurant was ODD and we almost chose another motel just do to the name! So being new to town we decided to have a peek. The owner came out to greet us in an ice storm and provide us a couple free beverages free of charge and was very friendly and helpful! We went to the cabin style apartment and we're SUPER IMPRESSED was like walking into your own home, fully furnished and comfortable HIGHLY RECOMMENDED versus a hotel atmosphere

I've been going here since I was 10 years old...and I'm almost 55 now! I used to live here years ago and now I live in Halifax. Every year when I come home I stop in on the way over and the way back for the giant delicious onion rings!! Best I have ever had in my life! Thank you Spud for always being here

The Spud has the most delicious onion rings I have ever had! The only thing I don't like about this new Spud is the grey isn't very... original. The purple Spud before was spunky and fun and eye catching. And the pop trashcan was always a laugh.

Retro atmosphere and fantastic service. Ordered the Snack Attack which includes fries/taters, two onion rings, two mozzarella sticks, two chicken strips, and a coleslaw. It was all good with the exception of the onion rings which were a tad bit overcooked. All in all, a great place for a quick bite.
