City Cafe - Decatur

I have been going to city cafe since I was a little girl! It is a wonderful place to eat and amazing service! Love the place!

This is one of the few traditional cafes for a great Southern lunch, and it's the only one I got a recommendation for in Decatur, Alabama. There was a good variety of vegetables prepared Southern style...well seasoned and delicious. I had grilled ham with sides of sweet potato casserole and Italian green beans. It came with delicious cornbread muffins. The freshly prepared banana pudding was excellent, as well. If you want a real Southern food experience, I highly recommend City Cafe. The service is terrific, as well.

Love all the specials most especially the pork roast and turnip greens! They are my favorite. Excellent service�

Friendly people, excellent service, reasonably priced. If there's a club sandwich on the menu, it's a must for me, just my way of finding out if I'm going to like the food. Club sandwich was perfect in every way, fresh ingredients, presented very nicely, as for taste YUMMY! Looking forward to going back next week while in the area and trying their meat and vegetables!!!

Best breakfast in town! Look forward to Saturday morning breakfast every week at City Cafe! Wonderful service, staff and food!
