Bidra med feedbackBecause several in our party of six like pasta we decided on Amici's for after church. I was so disappointed. The only stuffed pasta alternative was ravioli. No manicotti. My lunch entre contained three small pieces of heavily breaded and deep fried chicken and a mountain of spaghetti. Definitely not as pictured. The others had chicken parm and also commented on the shortage of meat and heap of spaghetti. Alcoholic beverages were pricey and served in plastic glasses. One smart diner ordered the build-your-own pizza. We should all have done that! Dinners were served quickly but they were not hot. This was our first and last trip to Amici's.
This place was recommended to us by friends and it did not disappoint us at all. We went during happy hour and we absolutely loved the place. We set at the long table rather than wait for our own table but they put space between you so you have plenty of room. We got the spaghetti and we got two pizzas. Everything was good but the pizza won out and we ended up taking the spaghetti back with us. Portion sizes were normal size and huge. there is just no way you could ever leave this place hungry.
We have been going to this place for quite awhile and had a couple of great servers who have split checks with multiple couples, no problem. And, we have told them upfront. Brittany was our server this time and she said she could not do this and was very rude stating this. We asked for another server, did not happen. She gave us one check and we had to pass that around and separate each of our own meals into sections. They then said to give the ticket back then they would split it for us. Does not make since. So, for us to do this we became very stressed and could not enjoy the musician that was playing cuz we had to focus on this ticket. Very frustrating. We all started asking questions about the ticket and let them know that this was very confusing to figure out. The owner got involved and was extremely rude and said that he does not want us in the restaurant anymore and kicked us out just because we wanted our checks split. We were not even yelling at them, we were having a conversation. We go to hear Joey play music on Tuesdays and we were also told that Joey will not be playing there anymore. Why, who knows. Very disappointing because we did enjoy this place and listening to the music. We will never go there or to Amigo's again (they are owned by the same person) and we will not recommend this to others and I know a lot of people. Bye Bye! There are too many other places that treat there customers much better!!
OMG this food was so good Sunday night. The toasted Ravioli mozzarella cheese stick and Calamari appetizers were the it! LOL Nathan's Chicken Parm with Alfredo, Lasagna (was cold but good), Gnocchi with Bolonese and Gnocchi with Bolonese meatballs were outstanding. And you have to get Rosemary's Cucumber Potion (cocktail) and Mojitos were so delish. Highly recommend this place.
Paid over $125 to feed 3 people no sides, drinks, deserts. That was the meals themselves. I had the lasagna. It had an interesting flavor, but it was dry and looked nothing like the picture (very little sauce). The food quality is about average for a restaurant that sells at a third of the price. Not impressed.
