What a find this was. The perfect stop for a coffee and something sweet.<br/ <br/ We visited Daylesford for the day and came across this gorgeous café. It is an absolute must of mine now, if ever visiting the area. The staff are absolutely wonderful. She was personable and made an effort to ensure that we felt both valued and unique. Not an easy thing to achieve, especially when you’re the only waitress on the floor!<br/ We ordered coffee and some scones to share. Delicious and exactly what we were after.<br/ <br/ If you have time, you can also look through the gallery. Some of it is even for free!<br/ <br/ Very Instagrammable Interior<br/ Really Friendly Staff<br/ Attached Gallery
I don’t hand out 5 stars lightly but, if I could give more stars, I would. <br/ <br/ From walking inside yet, still feeling like you are outside, is peaceful and relaxing. It was raining today and I felt like it was a nice summer day. <br/ <br/ Having worked for large, well known hospitality venues, the staff (including the kitchen were incredible and first class. <br/ <br/ They knew the menu back to front, were extremely helpful in providing the right options for dietary requirements and constantly checked in with us despite full tables everywhere. <br/ <br/ Whilst we were waiting for food, out came all these “tasters” which were simply delicious. <br/ <br/ We were enjoying ourselves so much, we didn’t even realise that we had waited a while for food. THEY CAME AND TOLD US, offering us a free drink each. <br/ <br/ They are too nice. And I haven’t even started on our meals (which were great!!!! <br/ <br/ If you run a restaurant, have a meal here and learn!!!!<br/ <br/ We are coming back tomorrow or the day after
Stunning afternoon tea in quaint surroundings. Lovely staff and great menu. The scones were the best ever. The lemon curd crepe was divine. Sun was streaming through the glass on a cold sunny day. Just lovely.
Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea. The gardens are breathtaking and the inside of the cafe is colourful and interesting with all the different levels. We were served by the most lovely and friendly waitress! The scones I had were unfortunately over cooked and a bit burnt on the bottom but my husband really enjoyed the lemon curd crepes.
