zum Tschuggen - Davos Dorf

We found this when we found the fluella pass en route back to calais from the comer see, what an absolute jewel of an ortes! we were not in the hotel, only the restaurant used. the parking lot is large enough to reach with a large residential property. leave their camera handy, as the view from the parking lot and the outdoor bar area are excellent. there is no mobile signal so they must be able to understand German, or willing to be a risk. we liked the view of the Penne courts, in which an adjacent table was one, took a chance, and they did not disappoint – huge portions, taste loads and exactly what they needed after a very cold walk from the parking lot – one is tomato base, the other has loads of cheese, wobble and speck mixed with the pasty before the grill. a cozy location and the service is excellent, although not all employees speak English, but with hand gestures and geduld, we have worked out everything. the owner laughed at us when we paid – commented that they had snowfall and wore pullover, but we were in shorts and sandal.

Drive up here for a nice lunch. if I could give 0 stars, I would because the service was terrible/rude and we had to pay 1 franc for the toilet!

Phantastisches Essen in toller Atmosphäre mit freundlichem Personal. Sowohl das Menüe, als auch weitere Gerichte aus der Karte waren ein Gaumenschmaus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben zu viert hervorragend gegessen! 2 mal das Menü 1 mal das fantastische Cordon bleu Kotelett und 1 mal Gitzi!

Wir haben Geschnetzeltes und Kalbsleber mit Rösti gegessen, beides als Hausspezialitäten angepriesen, beide sehr gut! Auch unsere Bedienung war sehr nett, wir waren rundum zufrieden.
