Checkers on Paringa - DAVISTOWN

I was having a relaxed Sunday and was in the mood for a burger and fries. The food was decent, but seemed a little expensive for the portion size. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

The new owners have maintained the high standards of food and service at this restaurant. The gourmet burgers are delicious, the portions of chips are ample, and all the ingredients taste fresh. The establishment is clean, and the friendly family who own and operate the business make for a welcoming atmosphere.

We've had take away fish & chips and burgers here many times over several years.The new owners have continued to provide good old fashioned fish & chips at affordable prices. The mini fish tails with small chips at $5,50 is very good value.The burgers are tasty and have fresh ingredients.The only complaint is the shop gets very hot inside and the some of the items are overpriced such as the potato scallops, calamari rings and pineapple fritters.Only once has the fish been greasy.Give them a try.

This is a great little take away for burgers and fish and chips... the burgers are like they should be - real meat! They are generous and delicious... they even make their own potato scallops! And the chips - huge portions all wrapped up in paper. LOVE IT!!!

Pretty much the best chicken burgers I've had ever there. You can get your food and take down to the water to eat? It's very peaceful.
