Bidra med feedbackStopped here for lunch on our way to Truckee. I was pleasantly surprised. It 's the typical order at the counter and they deliver your food when it 's ready but the guys working there were all very friendly and helpful. They knew the beer selections (it should be a given, but often when I ask what 's this tap? the staff just shrugs) and they had some interesting (and yummy) brews. The chips and dips and salsa they brought was a big hit (not too spicy and I 'm a wimp) for me and my 3 year old. They have a kids menu and seemed pretty kid friendly. The vegetarian burrito was yummy not exactly what I think of as traditional Mexican, but delicious California style anyway. I 'll probably return on the way back!
The food was amazing. The Steak Fajitas I got had wonderful aromas (recommended! . The rice had a lime note, the black beans were delicious, the guacamole was fresh and the meat was excellent. I wish they had delivered 4 bowls instead of 3 because they are medium. But the service was not so great. It could be something unusual this day, but the food took a long time to get out in a not so crowded time. We didn't get the check fast. We looked at them ready to go so that we definitely output the nonverbal signals, but at the end we had to call them and ask them. Eat: 5 star service: 3 stars final result: 4 stars.
Great food, high quality and good price. The margaritas were there. The biggest reason for 5 stars is the service. They are always fast, both for immersion and execution of orders. They are also diligent with customer needs and allergies.
There was a long strand of hair in our food. The food was very greesy and the chips were stale. The customer service was okay. Prices were a bit high.
Honestly, I had much better tacos, chips, salsa and beans. Maybe. I didn't order the right duck or maybe it was the boogers on the back of the bathroom door that turned me off. Margarita was too sweet. It lacked a fresh taste.
