Bidra med feedbackThat was excellent! You have the Chicago classics you expect. They have Chicago dogs, burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, sausage, a whole range of foods. I have an Italian beef with extra gravy that was really good. Whatever they had the beef in there was incredible taste it remained juicy. My wife got a cheeseburger who had a nice car out there that she absolutely loved. We both thought the Pommes were really good, they're seasonal so they're not just boring. Then to dessert we share a piece of their chocolate cake, there was no disappointment!
It was a nice experience for someone who has never been here. I'm not buying hot dogs on the street. And that was a score to try. The restaurant was clean and very lively and had a number of old school decorations all over the place that created a beautiful atmosphere. I hope to try again next time.
This diner in Chicago offers classic Chicago street food that elevates the traditional diner experience. Their Italian beef is one of the best I've had and the addition of sports peppers to their hot dogs is outstanding. I have never been disappointed when dining at Portillos.
We visited a Portillo's location near Nebraska in early August 2022 and found the restaurant to be almost brand new. The atmosphere inside was laidback with fun local and regional decor throughout the entire room. The service was friendly and fast, which is always appreciated at Portillo's. We ordered our food and before we knew it, it was ready to eat. We started with a Chicago dog and then tried the Wet Italian Beef, both of which were delicious. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely be stopping by again.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding and the atmosphere is great. The beef sandwiches can get a bit messy, especially if you opt for them fully dipped, but they are absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is well-maintained. The hot peppers add a nice kick to the sandwich and they actually pack a spicy punch. This restaurant is a welcome addition to the Quad Cities.
