I was never told about this cancelation fee after being 30 minutes late. Charged me 150 for being late. Now charged me again 154.80 because they had my credit card on file. My entire bill was paid by my partner including tip to a waitress that had no idea what was in the menu. I requested my funds the manager said I h Im so sorry we will refund you and never got a call back. I am this close to make them never do this to another person again. That night I said to Peter why are you cancelling my table ? He said no worries you won’t get charged we have your table to a guest , and all sudden I had a table with no service at all she didn’t even know the menu. Charged twice and got ignored . Just shut down if you treat people like this .
The restaurant had 2 servers one bartender 1 cook and half the items on the menu was not available. This wasn't a weekend night it was a Monday night.The service was so slow that my party of 9 paid for our drinks and left. A party of 30 that came in 15 minutes after us left at the same time. That's 39 guests walking out of a dining establishment. This place needs new management and trained staff . The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Please invest in some good patio furniture. No one wants to dine on raggedy patio chairs.This review would be a zero star if it was an option.#Dobetter
Great food, awesome decor, and good wait staff. If you want a delicious meal by the water, you will enjoy this restaurant. You get an amazing Miami dining experience here.
I 've heard great things about Bar One Miami from people who 've gone for a regular reservations but, I cannot let my experience slide. I sent an inquiry about a reservation for 18 guests a month ago and was speaking to someone signed TT but when I sent a follow up email- no response for 2 weeks. Sent another inquiry, no response. Called the place, spoke with some and she answered a few questions but essentially told me to keep everything in email. So, I emailed again- no response. I even sent an Instagram message for someone to get back to me! Called again, spoke with Ricky who gave me the general manager 's number- Alicia. She wasn 't helpful either and said she 'd elevate it to Hannah- the VP. and BTW Hannah girl, idk if you even deserve that title because I 've never spoken to a VP who talks over their customers!!! Ok so a month later from my initial inquiry, I speak with Hannah and she sounded like she just rolled out the bed. I 'm explaining my frustrations and the lady is interrupting me!! Like rule #1 in customer service! I basically got the attitude of what are you calling for, what do you want. No apologies for the difficulties, no apologies for the run around. Very rude, inconsiderate and unaccommodating. Whoever is in charge of hospitality or reservations needs to revamp! Poor professionalism and I hate that for a minority owned business! The group rate was $150/ person. That does not include a sprite or coke- like is this a joke? That also does not include taxes and gratuity so for a $100 meal, you 're paying $50 for the inconvenience which to them is not the same as a service charge????. But what 's unfair is that $150 does not equate to an appetizer, entree and dessert. When I asked why so high, Hannah said that 's their competitive rate... no ma 'am because Nikki Beach 's rate is $135 and they have a beach!! Their policy is their policy but it 's not fair. I hope someone will look into how their employees handle inquiring customers. The only person who was happy to help was Ricky- thank you for trying but Bar One Miami is cancelled. 0/10 do not recommend for large parties. It seems like they don 't really want large parties because I called Barton G about the same reservation and got it confirmed within the hour! Bar One. do better I was rooting for you!!!!!!
