Bidra med feedbackI went to this restaurant with my family for dinner during the week, and to be honest, my expectations were not very high.
Lovely to sit outside on a balmy Darwin dry season evening. Great service and really tasty and interesting Mexican food. Certainly not the usual chain experience!! We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.
We visited this restaurant with friends who are locals. It is their favourite restaurant in Darwin and it seems to be patronised mainly by locals- always a good sign of class! It is off the tourist trail and suitable for special occasions, a great food experience and good company. The food, wine and ambience were top notch. the service was excellent and the bathrooms are something to behold with automatic frosting on the see through doors when they are locked!
A wonderful dining experience, for business, a get together or a romantic interlude. While not a vast menu, the food is magnificent prepared by Chef Franz, and the attentive staff. Dining here can only be likened to the old Darwin experience of Knife and Fork and Le Chamier. Highly recommend the Chilli Bugs, the Calamari and the Pie of the day, along with the chips. well recomended
You'd never walk past this place. It's at the back of Darwin CBD (if Michell St is the vibrant front).I came across it in a magazine.I'm glad I did see it. It's not prominent on the internet.Nicely decorated. The 2 waitresses were busy but very attentive. From the Caribbean (test out your French) and Malaysia with a twist of India. The food was delicious. However they did not have the Green Beans side we wanted so we were switched to eggplant chips.Being French I like escargots in the shell with the garlic butter Mamy made. For me, I did not like their tasting spoon interpretation. My Aussie dining partner liked it.We both had the risotto - mains size (or as Jess called it - man size). Plenty of seafood in it.Next time I will get entree size. It was a great meal but I could not finish.I like the owner's quirky take on privacy in the toilets. You need to flip the switch to ensure don't get seen through the glass door.Worthwhile seeking out.Jadhoo
