Rendezvous Cafe - DARWIN CITY

This is a hands-down favourite for a weekday lunch for me and my gal pals. We love the laksas and each have our favourite but I always order mine "with veggies" for which I pay an extra dollar or two. It makes the meal much more varied and flavourful than a big bowl of soup, noodles and meat. The other dish we always return to is the boneless spicy chicken wings. They are miraculous!

Cant go wrong with a Laksa here, and most people come here for just that. They have a unique taste and a strong coconut aftertaste which other Laksa stores cant imitate. Other food on the table was pretty average, they have move to new location so all nice modern feel.

Quick service for a little light lunch that was fresh and tasty. Modern decor, cafe style, might be noisy when busy as tables are fairly close together. Friendly efficient staff.

A little squeezy but worth the short wait for a table. Some of the best authentic Malaysian food in Darwin. One of my must visit restuarant when visiting Darwin.

Tasty laksa for lunch. A return for dinner was disappointing. Rendang was a bland stew. Dishes did not have authentic spices or presentation. Would only go back for laksa.
