Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant was awful. It served the worst fish and chips in Darwin. We ordered fish and chips for 3 children and 1 adult, and it took 43 minutes for our food to arrive, even though they were not very busy. The adult meal was smaller than the children's meals, and the chips were undercooked. I will not be returning to eat here again.
I enjoyed my plate of grilled barramundi with crisp chips and a fresh salad. the service was friendly and fast at this slightly raised fish chips. the Eftpos availability was the decisive factor in my choice among the food levels of stokes hill wharf. I have brought a handcrafted beer from the adjacent liqueur and enjoyed a good eating. if they don't want frills in a picturesque location, this is a good choice.
The menu is somehow basic, it is in the round a food dish and the person that served me to understand, but the eating is good, the portion size was generous, the prices are very good and the setting in stokes hill wharf is an additional bonus
We ordered steak sandwiches to take back to our accommodation and they were excellent! Don't order them if you're looking for a light meal.
We have eaten here three times while visiting Darwin and haven't been disappointed once. The greek style calamari was delicious, the calamari in general has been good can recommend both the grilled and Greek style! Also the pho and char mix plate were beautiful. It...can feel a little expensive because it is not an eat in restaurant as such but good sized meals and great spot to sit on the wharf and watch the sunset over a good meal. The young man serving was always very friendly and kind. Honestly don't understand how there are any bad reviews but glad we gave Portside a chance!!!
