Morrisons Supermarket Cafe - Darlington

I had a wonderful breakfast today, served by the most beautiful waitress. her name is charlotte and she just stopped working long enough to tell me her name. eating was perfect even though the caffe was busy. I'd have a bad salary. risk or bonus for charlotte recommend and I am not related. excellent.

I recently had a decent breakfast here, so I called this morning. I arrived twenty minutes after the opening time and the machine showed a “Sorry we closed” sign. a coworker in the load didn't know what happened, so...wet and had dead. very disappointing.

I have been looking forward to the breakfast of morrison for years, was surprised not to see a personal, just a computer-assisted ordering point. waited for over 30 minutes, although it was very quiet. no teaspoon, table dirty, only huge cups instead of cups. and undermine. eiers were absolutely freezing. will not go again if so many other good caffes

We have recently visited some morrisons caffes at various locations and have noticed a general deterioration of the good, efficient and clean places they were in the current situation. the north road darlington café was quite typical. the caffe was completely dehumanized and we found ourselves in a long waiting queue waiting to enter our lunch data into a large computer screen. there were no employees to see, and they were not interested in actually interacting with customers or the payment at the cash point, what to be confused for customers who are allowed to wait for old for help. hygiene did not seem to be a high priority, as most tables were not deleted. they also got our food order wrong and it had to be changed. all in all a disappointing experience. the few employees we saw seemed to work flat and do their best, but overall the caffe seemed bad to underestimate and so cleanliness and customer service was really bad. this would be understandable in troubles caused by covid and difficulties in recruiting, but it seems to be common in all morrisons cafes now. we had enough, and despite the caffe that is still good for money, the next time will go somewhere else.

Social distancing worked well and good cleanliness. I didn't want the eggs and asked for toast as a substitute. Not allowed any substitutions. Given fried bread instead of toast option requested. Luke warm. This is the first time that I have not finished an English...breakfast. Left 2 hash browns, a sausage, both black pudding slices and half the beans. Not a pleasant experience.
