Unacceptable rude bar and door personnel. no wonder the place is dead! avoid a lot of bars on the street with better music, better atmosphere and nicer staff!

Was it extra busy? was a personal shortage? we live in interesting times and some things can be tolerated in times of pandemic. the oxford hotel had a great atmosphere. we sat outside and ordered our food with the table QR code. the first time that I ordered QR code elsewhere, it was a mistake because the personal did not check the screen. After about twenty minutes I asked bar staff if our food order went through. he brought someone senior who assured me that he had it and said it was very busy and gave me a free drink as compensation. when I returned to our table, my partner had also served a free drink. if the dinge go something wrong for a customer, what great work to do it to them. we saw a part of a show and left the feeling very happy and satisfied. the oxford hotel is a great fun gay venue and it seems to know how to do dinge very well.

My daughter 18. for Friday night in the polo lounge, upper floor of the oxford hotel. clayton, the so-called manager, was polite and very courteous on the phone in the tour to the party. the dinge changed on the day of the party. if the lights we hired were thrown down bar, 2 hours before the start of the party. my wife had arrived and had to wear 8-10 light boxes and stands on 2 floors, as clayton and the staff saw. dj revolved and was met by clayton, who had advised the responsible person of the sound, was not available and was not a hope, what ever. After we finally sorted out the sound, we were served plates of inedible musk, which I would not feed my dogs. the one plus in the night were the bar staff who were friendly and chatting. the security, however, was the complete opposite and threatened the guests with an hour into the party. we were aware of the situation of matters with the standing of the game in relation to Covid restrictions, and all the guests were good behavior and polite. time after the time, my wife of clayton and his over zealous lapdogs were addressed for reasons that we could not fully understand. we had put a considerable amount behind the cash, not only for my daughter and her friends to celebrate this special occasion. around 10:45 o'clock we were informed without warning that clayton switched off the party he did with a very bizarre satisfaction. management and security literally push my daughter friends on the road and away from the venue. I have never experienced such an experience and was devastated for my daughter and her friends. I'm sure we've never spent the amount we had put behind the cash, but that's at least my mind. a complaint letter was sent to the owners of this facility and we expect their response. I was at this place for private functions before and in the bar itself down at numerous locations, had not one question. we never had to do with imperial clayton and his henchmen. be aware of this place for a party of any kind, disgusting, unfit management and rude, intimidating security.

I went to Oxford Hotel with my friends and was in the line for 10 mins, i went to the security and asked him how long was the wait and he said 20-30mins and i just asked him if i can use the washroom as...i was busting and it was urgent and he refused, i told him i am happy to come back and stand in the line to get in after and he said go somewhere else, i then went towards the VIP lounge and he followed saying it also belongs to Oxford and i can go there... so i came and stood in line with my friends and wouldnt let me in when it was our turn because according to him i was drunk. My question is how does your security decide if a person is drunk or not, how does he not help a patron who is in emergency situation. This is how your staff treats your patron. It was very disappointing. It was my friends birthday and we couldnt even go in. I dont think i would ever nor my friends would ever go to your pub and i also put this review up on google. This is truly disappointing.
