Berny's Fish Bar - Darling Heights

This is the best fish and chips place in Toowoomba. The portion sizes are generous and everything is cooked perfectly. I can't get enough of the loaded fries, and at only $6, you really can't go wrong.

If you're in search of a delicious fish and chips to-go, check out Berny's located on the corner of Ruthven and Long Street. They also serve a tasty hamburger for lunch, but please note it is not available after 5pm. Overall, it's a great spot worth trying out.

To the person who thinks they can feed a family of 5 for $10... I don't know what rock you have been living under but we're all interested to know where YOU think you can feed a family of 5 for $10?? We had a great meal for 3 people which cost $35 and the food was great...

I decided to try my fish two ways, one battered and the other crumbed. I enjoyed the light batter on one of the Hoki fillets and was pleasantly surprised by the deliciously crispy crumbed Hoki as well. Additionally, the chicken salted chips were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this dish!

Good fish and chips, fresh and crispy, friendly staff AND, they give seniors discount. Easy parking out the front. I would go again when I’m in the area.
