Tasties - Darby Township

My friend and i ended up here by accident. We initially went to another spot that had an almost perfect 5 rating, but that place ended up being a bar that just happened to have a kitchen ..... nope not for us. When we arrived there was a guy sittin on the ground by the door, but he turned out to be harmless. We were greeted right away and the host was really patient w us and allowed our 20 questions. When the food was ready, he brought it and our drinks to the table. My friend got the shrimp and salmon alfredo. She loved it, ate it all! I had the fried Whiting w cabbage and mac cheese. My food was very good, but the fish coulda used just a lil more seasoning. The platter had 4pcs of fish and huge portions of the sides. Prices were really reasonable compared to most places these days. We 're already making plans to return. I really have no complaints. ALSO, the host let us take the laminated menu w us. I don 't understand all the negative feedback.

Food was excellent. Got the shrimp pasta, it was excellent. My husband got the salmon with the veggie rice loved it! Next time I'm ever up this way I will definitely stop here

The fried chicken, candy yams and back mac &cheese was delicious!! I will revisit to try the fried fish and other food they served!

Got a whiting platter candy yams and Mac and cheese only thing half good was the fish the sides was nasty

I repeat don’t get they cabbage, it’s horrible- mac had no cheese in it like come on dawg .
