Gunpowder Cafe - Darby Township

Ordered Butter Chicken Peshawari, Dal and a few other things from here. Chicken was rubbery and the gravy was so watered down and tasteless. Dal was bland. Really bad experience ordering food from here.

They have a network of Indian restaurants under them—not even called Gunpowder Cafe. Those restaurants will cancel orders for no reason when ordered online through @Grubhub.

Ordered butter chicken and garlic naan through Postmates. Arrived warm but the order of naan was missing. Messed up the entire meal. Butter chicken was not too bad. I live close by and they posted a 30 minute delivery time which was actually an hour. Will not order there again.

I ordered through DoorDash and they said “we could not see that you made an order.” They don’t even have a number to contact the restaurant. I waited two hours until I finally just called the restaurant. Luckily I was about to get a refund through door dash. This was a miss. Do not order food from here through the app.

****. What a mess. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up butter chicken but somehow they (or whatever restaurant I got food from did). I don’t think they actually have a location and I think the food came from mood. This place is probably some kind of scam run by a bunch of shady philly
