Chestnut Hill Coffee Co

Me and some friends took a small trip to explore the shops on Chestnut Hill and found ourselves in this quaint Coffee shop. Atmosphere: Simple with not to much décor, seating towards the back, and a overall comfortable vibe. The employee was very nice and helpful with helping us decide on a drink. Presentation was beautiful as seen in the attached photo. Overall I could see stopping back here if I find myself in the area again.

Great, inexpensive coffee, wonderful service, and cozy atmosphere.

EDIT: unfortunately, I need to edit my review of Chestnut Hill Coffee Co, formerly one of my top coffee shops in Philly. My cappuccino today was borderline acceptable, with oversteamed milk, and an espresso flavor that tended more towards burnt than the pleasant, flavorful, modern light roasts I have gotten in the past from here. Additionally, this shop no longer carries single origin coffee beans, instead carrying only a couple shop blends. Most disappointingly, the hot chocolate this time tasted like swissmiss or some other mix. Included below for context is my former 5-star review: Cortado was quite good, almond croissant was excellent. Hot chocolate is made from a syrup, and is first rate. Non-dairy options are offered. Two floors of indoor seating available, but still crowded at peak hours. Selection of whole bean coffee available for purchase has recent roast dates, and includes blends as well as single-origin coffees.

No fresh food here, but the coffee was amazing. I got a latte with maple spice flavor. Very unique and really delicious

A beautiful crisp sunny February afternoon sitting at the window watching people and their dogs stroll by. So many dogs made a beeline to the door knowing they could also enjoy a special treat inside! The Baristas made a special show of happiness to greet their canine customers. There's even a shelf at the window for smaller dogs to sit under a table to view the happenings outside. The drinks are just right and with a flair. The croissant was delicious. There are many tables in the back and upstairs to easily find your hideaway. All this this say, I even got a lot of work accomplished and will find my way back there soon.
