Bidra med feedbackThis place makes Damariscotta feel like home. We can’t come this way without stopping by. Simple delicious and fresh food with paintings everywhere and a view of the water. Our fourth time here and we’re fast becoming regulars!
We were out of town on a family vacation and stopped by this place after a fishing trip. The look reminds me of a basement apartment converted into a restaurant. It's quite cozy and charming with beautiful paintings on the wall. I was pleased with the vegetarian and gluten free options. The kids loved their grilled cheese and chocolate milk. I enjoyed my pea loaf, salad, roll and potatoes. We also had a delicious flan for dessert. I would say the portions are a bit small, other than that we enjoyed our meal. The chef even took a minute to chat with us. Nice!
Love this place. Owner friendly and accommodating. Also excellent cook
Grace provides top of the line service, with a heart of gold. The outdoor dining arrangement features a gorgeous view of the bay. The food is fresh and full of life! Sprouting with deep rooted compassion, and work ethic. I highly recommend enjoying a meal at Savory Maine Dining and Provisions, or stopping in for a friendly hello!
Saturday 5/15/2021 a friend, his dog, and I had lunch at the Savory Maine Dining and Provisions restaurant in Damariscotta, Maine. We sat outside overlooking the water. The owner waited on us. Our lunches were so wonderfully prepared and delicious. We had some food allergies which she managed without a blink. I had an 8 oz bowl of delicious fish chowder served with a gluten free biscuit just the right texture, taste, and size to crumble into my bowl of chowder. My companion ordered a simple salad of greens and chicken sausage and polenta that was beautifully prepared and outstanding. I followed up with maple syrup infused flan, light, delicate, savory and a cup of Yogi ginger tea. My friend's dog was offered a bowl of water upon our arrival and was content to look around and chew on her bone. Inside the restaurant, the owner had an art display and silent auction of art by local artist Polly Steadman. All monies raised go to Apifera Farm, a non profit adoption of elder and special needs animals located in Bremen, Maine. Our lunch bill was 44 dollars which included a generous tip.
